What Beloved provides

Beloved offers daily scripture, a library of prayers, read-aloud features and the option to create a personal prayer from words you choose to share. Some features are free and some are available through a Beloved Plus subscription.

A devotional companion, not professional advice

Beloved is intended for personal reflection and prayer. It is not a substitute for advice or care from a doctor, mental-health professional, counsellor, solicitor, financial adviser, faith leader or emergency service. Generated prayers may not always reflect your beliefs or circumstances perfectly; you are free to change, ignore or delete them.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services. In the UK, call 999 or 112. For emotional support, you can call Samaritans free on 116 123.

Accounts

You can use Beloved’s free prayer and scripture features without an account. An account may be offered so that Beloved Plus access can follow you between devices. You are responsible for access to your email account and for telling us promptly if you believe your Beloved account has been used without permission.

Beloved Plus subscriptions

• The exact price, billing period and renewal terms are shown before you confirm a purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time before the next renewal. Access normally continues until the end of the paid period.
• Website checkout is provided through RevenueCat and its payment partners. Purchases made in the iPhone app are billed by Apple.
• For an Apple purchase, cancellation and refund requests are handled under Apple’s App Store terms. For a website purchase, use the management link provided with your purchase or contact us.
• Reasonable fair-use safeguards may apply to personal-prayer generation so that the service remains available for ordinary personal use.

Nothing here limits cancellation, refund or other rights that you have under applicable consumer law. If you have a billing problem, visit Support or email hello@yourlaunchkit.co.uk.

Your words and private content

You keep ownership of words you enter and content you save. You give Beloved only the limited permission needed to process the words you submit and return the feature you requested. Our Privacy Policy explains what stays on your device and what is processed briefly when a personal prayer is created.

Fair and lawful use

You agree not to:

• use Beloved unlawfully, fraudulently or to harm another person;
• probe, disrupt or bypass the security or usage safeguards of the service;
• use automated tools to make requests or extract content at scale;
• resell, copy or present the Beloved service as your own; or
• attempt to gain access to another person’s account or purchase.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect Beloved, its users or its providers, or where we are required to do so by law.

Beloved content

The Beloved name, design, software and original editorial content belong to us or our licensors. You may use Beloved for your own personal, non-commercial prayer and reflection. Where Beloved provides a sharing feature, you may share the resulting card or excerpt for personal, non-commercial purposes with the Beloved attribution intact.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Beloved available, but cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may maintain, improve, replace or remove parts of the service. If a change materially affects a paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to explain it and honour any rights you have under consumer law.

Our responsibility

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, Beloved is provided for personal use and we are not responsible for business losses or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when Beloved or the law changes. The date below will show when they were last revised. If a change is important, we will provide a reasonable notice in the app or by another appropriate means.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to you as a UK consumer, and disputes may be brought in the courts of the part of the UK where you live. If you live elsewhere, any mandatory consumer protections and court rights in your country still apply.
